Bay Care Network is a connection platform. Our internal review process is informational only. Adult Family Homes and private clients are responsible for independently vetting caregivers, including appropriate credential, reference and background checks, before engagement.

One-on-One Care
How placement fees work
Your monthly plan and the placement fee are the only charges. Nothing is charged for browsing, messaging or interviews.
Refer and earn
For caregivers. Share your referral link from your dashboard.
Refer a caregiver
Paid when the caregiver you refer is hired through Bay and the placement fee is paid.
Refer an Adult Family Home
Paid when the AFH you refer hires through Bay and pays its placement fee.

- Placement: a caregiver you hired through Bay Care, confirmed by you in Bay, with the placement fee paid to Bay. Before that, an accepted introduction is a connection.
- Hiring actions (Free plan): each job post and each introduction you request counts as one. The limit is 3 per calendar month (Pacific time) and resets on the 1st. Caregivers applying to your openings does not count.
- Placement fee: set by your plan at the moment you confirm the hire, then shown before you pay. Free $150 · Growth $100 · Multi-Home $50 · families/private clients $150.
- Monthly plans: billed monthly by card through Stripe. Change or cancel anytime from Billing & Payments; cancelling stops the next renewal. Monthly fees are not refunded.
- Multi-Home: for operators running 3 or more Adult Family Homes. We schedule an onboarding call after you subscribe.
- Referral rewards: only caregivers can refer. The referral is recorded when the new person signs up with your link, one referrer per account, and you can't refer yourself. A reward is paid only after the referred AFH (or the new caregiver's employer) pays Bay a placement fee, and after Bay reviews it. Rewards are paid to your own Stripe account; Bay never sees your bank details. A reward is cancelled if the placement fee is refunded, and Bay may withhold rewards for duplicate, fake or self-referred accounts.
- Bay Care Network does not employ caregivers, provide care, make hiring decisions or guarantee suitability.
