Interviews built in
Accept a caregiver's interest, message in the app and schedule an interview with a video link.
How it works for Adult Family Homes
- Create your home's account. Add your home, location and the shifts you need to fill.
- Post openings or browse caregivers. Filter by availability and experience such as dementia care or night shifts.
- Accept interest and interview. Caregivers express interest, you accept or decline, then message and interview.
- Hire and pay the placement fee. Full contact details are released after the fee is paid, and you complete your own screening.

Your responsibilities as the hiring home
Bay Care organizes credential information to help you decide who to interview, but it does not certify caregivers. Before a caregiver starts, your home remains responsible for DSHS background checks, verifying training and certification status, checking references and meeting your licensing requirements.
Common questions
How much does it cost for an Adult Family Home?
Homes can start on a free plan or choose a monthly plan, and pay a placement fee only when they hire a caregiver through Bay Care. See current plans on the Bay Care Network homepage.
Can I see a caregiver's documents before I hire?
Yes. You can view caregivers' uploaded documents while browsing. Contact details stay hidden until the placement fee is paid.
Do you run background checks?
No. Bay Care is a connection platform. Your home completes its own background check and screening as required for Washington Adult Family Homes.
I own more than one home. Can I use one account?
Yes. Multi-home operators can manage several homes, and homes with three or more locations get an onboarding call.
